Description

The Telecom Sales Manager will be responsible for the overall operations of the Telecom sales team, from account acquisition and retention, planning, monitoring and increasing of sales, meeting excellent customer satisfaction, planning the sales team’s activities, and managing and monitoring of the sales team’s performance.

KEY ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Reports directly to      : Telecom Department Manager or whoever the company assigns to manage the team

Coordinates with       : Telecom Department Manager or whoever the company assigns to manage the team

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manage the sales team in an effective and efficient manner

2. Submit to the Telecom Department Manager reports regarding the team’s sales performance

3. Meet and increase division sales targets

4. Ensure excellent customer relation and service satisfaction

5. Develop new clientele and expand the division’s client pool

6. Meet and exceed the division’s set revenue targets through the establishment of  and effective implementation of sales activities, plans and programs

7. Develop and maintain a database of qualified leads

8. Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow up activities

9. Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential clients

10. Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales

11. Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competitiveness of the company’s current products

12. Respond in a timely manner to the concerns of clients and partners

13. Represent the company to the client in a respectable and positive manner

14. Perform other duties which may be assigned from time to time by Management discretion
