Event Overview

Are you an innovative technology-oriented startup in the Philippines? This is your chance to win a trip to the capital of the startup nation of Israel to participate at the Start JLM event in November!  The Israel Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines and the Embassy of Israel are bringing PITCH JERUSALEM to the Philippines!

How to join:

1. We are looking for technology- oriented startups which are:
- Software- based (mobile, web, IoT)
- Pre-seed/ seed stage
- Live product/ service and traction
- Aspiring to increase the role of young entrepreneurs in the start-up ecosystem, priority will be given to founders in the 23-35 age group.

2. Submit your pitch application form online. Apply here. Submit on or before, Tuesday, Oct 3.

3.  An initial screening will be held and the five (5) best shortlisted candidates will be notified by Thursday, Oct. 5 to present at Pitch Jerusalem on Monday, October 9 at Qbo Innovation Hub, Makati City.

4. Shortlisted candidates will be given 5 minutes to pitch and present to the panel of judges. The judges will be given another 5 minutes for their questions.

5. One winning startup will be announced. One representative of the winning startup will travel to Israel to participate at the Start JLM event on Nov. 5-11 in Jerusalem, Israel. Airfare, accommodation and tours will be covered.

About START JLM:

Happening on Nov 5-11, 2017 in Jerusalem, Israel, Start JLM brings together young start-up founders from around the world for a five-day dynamic experience. The program will help them gain momentum for their entrepreneurial journey and is a unique opportunity for the founders to engage with Jerusalem’s leading entrepreneurs, investors and domain experts, learn from their successes, and experience firsthand the entrepreneurial and cultural vibe of the city. Friday, Aug 25: Call for innovations! Pitch your startup for a chance to win a trip to Israel for the START JLM event this November!
Tuesday, Oct 3: Deadline of submission for pitch competition (extended)
Thursday, Oct 5: Top 5 shortlisted startups will be informed.
Monday, Oct 9: PITCH JERUSALEM (2:00-5:00pm, Qbo Innovation Hub, DTI, Makati City). Top 5 shortlisted startups will be called to pitch. One winning start up will be announced.
Nov.5-11: START JLM (Jerusalem, Israel). The winning startup will participate.
